The first train reaches Eisenheim
Eisenheim, 16 March 1913
Eisenheim, late last night. The first train reaches Eisenheim. The journey from Vellmar takes 3 hours. The bell was rung at the ferry and the townspeople turned out to see. The town was quiet by evening.
The town officers met before first light the following day and resolved to do nothing for the present. The ferry was open as usual.
