Norrhafen, 23 April 1813
A storm strips roofs in Norrhafen and fells the old lime in Lime Square. One witness, a woman who had come in from the market, gave the following account: 'I have lived here 50 years and I never saw the like.' We shall not fail to lay before our readers whatever further intelligence may arrive.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it in its stride.
