The spring fair opens at Reedtal
Reedtal, 8 March 1908
The spring fair opens at Reedtal. 300 head of cattle change hands. Prices are described as firm. The roads about Reedtal were under water at the time. We have it from a peat cutter on his way home that the affair was much as described.
By the next morning Reedtal had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being dry for the season. A boatman from the lower quay said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
