Marschau Garrison win the Pfahl League, their 16th title, with 12 wins from 14

Vellmar, 11 November 1908

Vellmar (from our correspondent). Marschau Garrison win the Pfahl League, their 16th title, with 12 wins from 14. Roland Kessler of Marschau Garrison is top scorer with 28 stakes. Play was held up late in the forenoon for fog. The town was quiet by evening.

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.

The Grand Chancellor, Gustav Marrow, has been informed.
