Grauholt marks the 500th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Well Square

Grauholt, 21 November 1812

Grauholt marks the 500th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Well Square. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.' This journal has the account from more than one hand and has no reason to doubt it.

The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.

Those concerned: Grauholt (location); Well Square (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Josef Ort, has caused no notice to be issued.

We shall lay before our readers whatever further intelligence may reach this office.
