A new bridge is opened at Grauholt by the Minister of the Interior

A new bridge is opened at Grauholt by the Minister of the Interior. It has 4 arches. The bell was rung at the town hall and the townspeople turned out to see. One witness, the sexton, gave the following account: 'I said at the time it would come to this.'

By the next morning Grauholt had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being heavy after rain. A boatman from the lower quay said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Josef Ort, has caused no notice to be issued.
