Reedtal, 10 January 1904
Reedtal, late last night. The winter fair opens at Reedtal. 300 head of cattle change hands. Prices are described as firm. One witness, the keeper of the toll-house, gave the following account: 'The dog knew before any of us.'
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.
