Norrhafen, 4 February 1881
We have received from Norrhafen the following account. A new wing opens at the Norrhafen hospital, with 80 beds. Speaking to this journal, the keeper of the toll-house said: 'They were very orderly about it.'
By the next morning Norrhafen had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A woman selling eels at the corner said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Fedor Hallin, received the report at the Chancellery without comment.
