The bells of Norrbruck church are recast
Norrbruck, 9 March 1805
The bells of Norrbruck church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. One witness, the sexton, gave the following account: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.' Of the rest we are not yet informed.
By the next morning Norrbruck had returned to its ordinary business, the causeway being under a hand's depth of water. A woman selling eels at the corner said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Konrad Hesk, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
