The bells of Tarnmund church are recast
Tarnmund, 25 August 1804
The bells of Tarnmund church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. A carter who declined to give his name said: 'I said at the time it would come to this.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

The Grand Chancellor, Konrad Hesk, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
